Several jets of water appear from behind the user and snake their way past it, before aligning to their trajectory and streaming forward with driving energy. They strike with such force that the target is driven off the battlefield. A new foe is washed up in Trainer Battles. This move, when used in underwater battles or against foes in the semi-invulnerable turn of Dive, doubles in power as the jets of water cause a greater mass of water to surge the opponent.
In the field, this move can be used while Surfing to traverse areas of strong currents, like those around Pacifidlog Town, without being swept along a certain route.

On the first turn, a sandy glowing ring appears beneath the target where gravity intensifies fixing them to the spot and grounding airborne foes. The foe is now unable to use contact moves and any immunity to Ground type moves is removed, until the move is completed. On the second turn, dense earthy matter has been building underground due to the increased gravity and now this pent up energy erupts volcanically showering the foe in sand, soil and muddy debris.
The 80% accuracy is for the first turn as the summoning of the gravity ring around or beneath a flying foe is the challenge. If this part of the move is successful, the second attack phase is guaranteed to hit.

An erratic gust is whipped up around the user. This is focused into a ball of rapidly flowing turbulent air and then launched at a foe. Upon impact it wildly buffets the target, guaranteed to make them Flinch. However, its erratic nature limits its accuracy. Even if it used last in a round, it still has effects as the distraction it causes also nullifies any charging, for two-turn attacks like for Solarbeam, the foe just did.
